Hi and welcome!

I’m Lisa and I love sharing all things fitness and health. I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and Holistic Health Coach with a background in healthcare (as a Radiation Therapist). I spent 13 years of my life in a corporate setting, climbing from an entry position to CEO and 8 years in a physical therapy office running their fitness studio and learning from the very best.

In all my “past career lives” I didn’t just learn about their unique industry; I learned where I exceled and where I struggled, what I enjoyed and what caused me stress. As painful as it was sometimes, I now consider it a blessing to have had these opportunities!

So, how does what I do and how I got here help you?

First, let’s see if we have some things in common:

I had an active childhood playing sports… and then went through some very trying times as a teenager and gained a large amount of weight.

I’ve tried most every diet out there to lose the weight I’ve yo-yoed over the years… and they all work for a minute. Let’s not forget attending multiple workout classes a day, doing cardio like my life depended on it and practically starving myself – or eating everything processed and fake because the exercise cancelled it out. Anybody else???

I was very fit and healthy in my early 50’s… then I moved from WA State to SC, hit menopause and had a low period in my life that caused (yet again) a significant weight gain and loss of muscle.

It’s exhausting.

So I chose to focus on gaining strength, energy and an internal chatter that boosts my spirit – not berates me for tripping up. I also assessed who was in my ‘inner circle’ and even cleaned that up a little. It makes a difference who you surround yourself with day in and day out.

The foundation I built, coupled with the extensive research I’ve done on how to offer you solutions to your greatest challenges, gives me the knowledge you expect from a fitness and health professional. You deserve support on your journey from someone who’s walked the same path and found her way out.

It’s doable! And it can be done while simultaneously having fun! I promise that making changes for better health doesn’t have to be serious or dreadful. As your partner I enjoy being creative in helping you find success!
